20th Century Fox / Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked
The marketing focus for Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked was to create spoof campaigns. The challenge was to take the movie and spoof the launch date (December/Christmas) and anything related to pop culture.
Ever since he was a kid monster, Mike Wazowski has dreamed of becoming a Scarer. To make his dream a reality, he enrolls at Monsters University. During his first semester, he meets Sulley, a natural-born Scarer. Sulley and Mike engage in a fierce rivalry that ultimately gets them both kicked out of MU's elite Scare Program. To make things right, Mike and Sulley -- along with a bunch of misfit monsters -- will have to learn to work together.
The challenge was to create teaser, payoff, in-cinema and big idea concepts around the idea of rivalry, misfits, teamwork, and collegiate.

Using the Pic-Toon App you can take pictures then choose from monsters icons to Monsterize yourself, family and friends. Instantly upload and share your scary photos on instagram and facebook.
The scare games will be recreated at top International Universities allowing fellow students and groups to compete against each other. Promotional Monster University merchandise will be passed out to the winning teams. The traveling team will coordinate special college screenings and monster marathons in student Quads.
Monsterize yourself photo booths for big events and in-cinema. Take pictures with your friends and family and use the monster icons provided to turn yourself into a monster. Once you created your scary pics...print your photostrips or post online to FACEBOOK or INSTAGRAM.
Be part of the CLASS OF 2013. Take fun yearbook pictures with the Monsters University yearbook standee or upload your worst school photos to the Monsters University facebook and share with your fellow classmates.

Pixel 3D glasses! Giving the 3D movie glasses a new “pixel” look to promote Wreck It Ralph. This can also be a great opportunity for in cienma promotional giveaways.
Rubik's Cube is a 3-D mechanical puzzle. In 2009, 350 million cubes had been sold worldwide making it the world's top-selling puzzle game.It is widely considered to be the world's best-selling toy.This can be a great opportunity for Wreck It Ralph to team up with Rubik’s Cube to create Wreck It Ralph character puzzles as promotional giveaways and several installation pieces in strategic locations such as trade shows, G24 expo, Comic Con, E3 gaming, in-cinema lobbies, etc.
Teaming up with Post It’s would be a great opportunity for individuals to design “pixel art” in a non-digital format. There would be an oppportunity to make serveral installation pieces in strategic locations such as trade shows, G24 expo, Comic Con, E3 gaming event, etc. On goers will be given the opportunity to create a small piece of “pixel art” with a stack of post its.
Pixel fashion all started way back in the fall of 2007 but the pixel trend is far from over. With the resurgence of Pac Man, and an 80’s vibe appearing all over, pixels are having their moment in the art and design world, this trend will be with us for a while! With pixel fashion becoming increasingly popular this is a great opportunity to co-partner with Project Runway and have an exclusive 8-bit episode where contestants will have the opportunity to design clothes, shoes, jewelry inspired by video games and the Wreck it Ralph characters.
Merida, the impetuous but courageous daughter of Scottish King Fergus and Queen Elinor, is a skilled archer who wants to carve out her own path in life. Her defiance of an age-old tradition angers the Highland lords and leads to chaos in the kingdom.
The challenge for this campaign was to create in-cinema concepts. The playfulness of Merida’s younger three twin brothers were the main focus.
